Travel program
Friends of the MMK can enjoy contemporary art-based trips and excursions both locally and further afield. Every second year we visit the Venice Biennial and the Berlin Biennial. The Documenta and the Sculpture Projects Münster are fixed points in our travel planning as well. Together with the curators of the MMK we select interesting places to go to always be on the cutting edge of contemporary art.

Do it Yourself! Zukünftig bieten wir speziell für unsere jüngeren Mitglieder Reisen an, die günstiger sind, da die Anreise und Unterkunft individuell von den Teilnehmern gestaltet wird. In diesem Jahr haben wir uns hierfür die Berlin Biennale und das Gallery Weekend in Berlin ausgesucht. Wir bieten an diesem Wochenende Führungen mit dem jungen Kunsthistoriker Axel Köhne durch die Berlin Biennale, verschiedene Galerien und andere Ausstellungsorte an, treffen Künstler und besuchen auch die große Gerhard Richter-Retrospektive in der Neuen Nationalgalerie.
Das Programm beginnt am Samstagmorgen, weswegen wir eine Anreise am Vortag empfehlen.
